Fellow Sailors: I am having a difficult time writing this, but we have lost one of our own. My friend Herman Miron passed away on Oct. 28, 2004 of a massive heart attack. Herman was 47 years old (born Nov. 20, 1957). He was the National Sales Manager for Ettore Products Co. of Oakland Ca. Herman attended Penn State Univ. and graduated from Bloomsberg Univ. of PA. He learned to sail on the Chesapeake Bay as a boy and in a sense he never left the sea. He owned a 35 ft. Hunter sailboat that he docked at Hidden Harbor Marina on Ryer Island in Walnut Grove,Ca. We will miss you Herman.

Sorry, Steve

Steve, Sorry for your loss. And he was so young, too. Reminds you it's important to appreciate whatever time you have. Gary Wyngarden S/V Wanderlust H37.5

My Condolences

Steve, I'm really sorry for your loss...Having lost several good friends way too early in life I share your grief. It makes all of us remember to keep our family and friends close while we can, and live every day as if it could be our last. Chuck Wayne H356 WWW.Escape

A lucky man

Herman must have been a very lucky man in his short life, because he enjoyed the gift of sailing through most of it and had a friend like Steve...
