Losing my SpeedMate impeller ... regularly

Hi all, Every time my H26 comes on the trailor, I lose the magnetic impeller that is glued to the outside of the hull aft of the center board. Have any of you used this unit? (The spinning magnetic field is picked up by a small coil inside the boat. NO HOLES!!!) But the outside unit is pricey and I keep losing it. Any ideas? Jim

Is the speedmate acurate

Other than losing the impeller (maybe this could be overcome using a different adheasive) would you recommend the speedmate and is it acurate because it would sure beat drilling holes in the hull. Tom
