Hello all,
Is there someone clever who can put the story of this boat into the
files of this email group? Gene Seuss has put together the history
of how Tony Skidmore modified his Vega and single-handed it around
the world. Gene can provide the file, or I can because he sent me a
copy, and I think Chuck Rose has a copy. Anyway it is fascinating
reading.

files section and send an e-mail out to everyone detailing the steps for
downloading it, expected time needed to download, etc. Thanks. I'm

Hello VEGAtarians:
Gene was at the rendezvous during the summer and I had the chance to look at
Lorna Doone up close...wonderful. Please send the file to me directly at
bhofler@....
Plan now to attend next years rendezvous in Friday Harbour??? Let's hear
some chatter out there folks.

Yes, I do have a copy of the History of Lorna Doone, courtesy of Gene Suess, and I am happy to share. I'll check a little later to see if anyone has beat me to it and if not, I'll upload my copy to the files section. I am planning to do a feature on Lorna Doone in the next issue of the newsletter which will include photos from Port Browning and the written material provided by Gene. The current issue, covering the Rendezvous at Port Browning,(Better late than never)is almost finished and I hope to have it in the mail by this weekend. This one has LOTS of pictures and will run 24 to 26 pages. Laura got a lot of interior shots of Lorna Doone and other boats at the Rendezvous so I have a lot of material for the Sisterships features in future issues.
