Vitamin B...

Stu,Plain old Vitamin B, I guess it's water soluble which is why you pee orange. It definitely works, but only on mosquitos. Around here we also have what we call midgies or no-see-ums, I think they're really some sort of biting gnat, little tiny things, Vitamin B doesn't faze them at all...

DEET and Permethrin

And permethrin is better if harder to find. Doesn't just confuse the critters, some of them drop dead on contacting it.Better yet, winter/spring sailing. There's some consolation to not sailing in the tropics.<G>

Hi Pete.Sue Creek is a quiet hurricane hole just inside the mouth of Middle River.As you head up the river, The Baltimore Yacht Club is on the port side at the entrance to the creek.You're right! It is hard to believe that the season is almost over. LAst year we were sailing right up to Thanksgiving and we did get an early start the first week in April 2006. Work kept me busy in late September and most of October but we did get a lot of good sailing in this past season. Spent most of our time on the Northern Bay.The boat is a 30 foot Hunter named Therapy.Ed
