There seems to be excessive movement in my C34 rudder. It wobbled under power quite a bit just before we hauled for the winter and can be manually wobbled a bit while out of the water. I can't detect any damage to any components when I visually inspected for the problem. The rudder post is strongly connected to the rudder itself so I believe the problem is elswhere. By the way, the boat has never hit anything. If anyone can help with some info it would be great. Thanks, Al

Rudder Bearing
All Check the bearing and stuffing box which is UNDER the quadrant. Does your emergency tiller have the same slop? Also check the C34 Forum at www.c34ia.org. Stu
