Loose Hardware

I spent 8hrs. retightening every bolt on Emma. i didn't find one
that was tight. My hull was manufactured in May 1976, everyone should
check this out, because I was amazed to find about 30% had lost their
nut/washer completely and in some places the bolts themselves had come
out. I suspect that this is why so many vega's have problems with
their mast/bulkhead combination. no load proper transfere when
everything is loose.

How did you get to the bolts under the refrigerator? I can't seem to
get to those on my Vega.

I don't have a fridge but an ice chest behind the sink. i recently replaced my engine and tightened those under the ice box via the engine compartment and the strbd. cockpit locker.
