Loos tension gauge

The recent discussion about the Loos tension gauge prompted me to look into purchasing one. Not being on the boat, I wonder if any Oday 25 owners can tell me the proper size(which assumes the size is uniform). The tension guages come in these sizes: 3/23", 1/8", and 5/32". Also, if you use one, what is the proper approximate tension to begin with? I'm not sure how these things work, so any information is appreciated.ThanksAlan

gen rule is about 10% of working strength of the stay material, so measure what you have and get the proper loos. the west catalog will tell you the working strength of your stay cable.
