Anyone have the numbers that the Loos gauge should be for an O'Day 28 shrouds?

Loos gauge numbers

What I've always done Gary, is pick the lowest number on the guage that corresponds to the thickness of my upper stays, and set my lower stays about 5 LBS looser than that number. This seems to work for my boat. If you think that it isn't tight enough, you can go to the next number. Someone else out there with a 28 might have a particular number that they always use, though.

LOOS

loos number should match from 15% to 25% of the strength of the stay material, unless you have upgraded, then it is the values of the original stay material since the connections are based on that torque figure....
