Hi, we restored a 1981 C22 just to find out we would like a larger boat. We mainly trailer to the lake for long weekends and do plan to sail/ explore the inner parts of the Palmico sound for a few days or so a few times per season.
My natural choice is a newer C250 WB, but we worry the boat may be too tender for my wife. Our C22 is small and she feels ok on it. We looked at a H260 WB but they are massive but she loves the interior room.
I also would consider the C250 in a wing keel, but hear the boat ramps must be steep or launching and retrieving will be painful. We tow with a 2021 Duramax Silverado 1500 (yes the little 3.0l Diesel, it’s awesome), so weight is not an issue. I know the ‘80’s model C25 would be a very stable boat, but we both want something newer.
How tender is the C250 WB?
