Thinking about buying a slip for a 30' sailboat in east central Fl. Anybody have an idea where I might look? I have checked a number of Real Estate Agents but to no avail. In addition, I have contacted a few marinas. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Look at this

There is a small town south of Daytona Beach (Ponce Inlet) there is a new marina ( Harbour Village) that sells slips. REAL NICE PLACE! Prices start at $92,700.

92K!!!!

Man, am I glad I left the east coast. I paid that much for a nice house on a deep water canal 10 minutes from having my sails up on Charlotte Harbor. I couldn't imagine having to fork out 92K for just a slip! With the five slips in my back yard my question is usually which boat to take out for the day. Unless you are hog tied to the east coast of Florida take a peek over on the left side before all the slips (I mean houses) are gone.

Tx. for the support Michael (sic). You are right. 92k is way too much. Where did you have in mind thay might be more reasonably priced. I would appreciate your answer. Tx. in advance. Rory

more than just a slip

I have no answer for an affordable slip, my suggestion is for a house on deep water for just a bit more. The locations are all over SW Florida, Ft. Myers, Pt. Charlotte, Cape Coral, etc. If you are limited to the weirdness of Florida's east coast than you are in a bind, that area is a zoo. The left coast of Florida is much quieter and more affordable.
