Looking to Charter A Sailboat with Captain

My wife is looking to charter a sailboat with captain for a team building event in the Stamford, Greenwich or Norwalk, Ct area. There will be 10 persons aboard. We have seached the local ads with little success. The preference is for the captain to pick up the "crew" in Stamford, Ct at Yacht Haven and do a four or five hour sail and return to Yacht Haven. Have you tried Gregor Tarjan at Aeroyacht in Port Jeff? He does cats but they're better for that amount of people anyway.

10 Passengers?

I think you're going to have a problem with trying to find a captain for 10 passengers. The way I understand the regs, if the captain has over 6 passengers, it must be an inspected vessel. Requirements on an inspected vessel are stiffer, and the captain has to have a different license.

ME TOO!

I'm looking for a short mid week charter. I'll need to embark in Ct or Long Island, and make a stop in Oyster Bay area. This would be a one day sail. I'll need room for about 10 people, but most of those will be aboard for only about 20-30 min. Any information or leads? please reply. Thanks
