My flashlight is not cutting it. I am looking to buy a 12v spotlight with a long cord for use on my boat that I can plug into the cigarette lighter socket. Any recommendations or other comments?

Think about a rechargable unit.

Maybe you should consider a rechargable unit. It makes going out in the dingy or other spots out of the reach of the cord a possibility.

Rechargable

I am goig to purchase a rechargable, water proof spot light. My old spot light has a long cord that plugged into deck fittings at the bow and stern, however this was quite a pain in the neck (for me at least). Try plugging these things in when its dark or if there is an emergency where everyone is running around. Another thing to trip over IMHO. The rechargable units appear more useful...can take it with you in case of emergency-boat-departure.

Any recommendations out there?

I need to replace my rechargable spot light. Anybody have one they've had for a while and has stood the test of time?

Marc's $10.00

We have a series of stores in these parts called Marc's. One million candlewatt rechargeable spots are $10.00 or so. Its a no brainer around here. Everyone has em.
