Long time lurker about to take the plunge. I have my eye on a Grampian 31. She's a bit of a project boat, nothing to major just a few dozen little things but my main concern is the engine (Vetus HP: 18) . There is a leak in the manifold.
I was wondering, while i tackle the problem with the Vetus (either repair or replace). if I could mount an outboard to use to get into/out of the marina, and if so, what would be the minimum horse power I would need, the ideal horse power?
Does anyone currently have an outboard mounted on their boat?
