Macgregor 21 Venture Delaware ...
Hi all, Looking for some items and so far haven't had much luck. Maybe am searching wrong terms but thought a couple of pix might yield some sources / suggestions.
One item is a side mounted rail fitting (May have been home made?) for 7/8" SS tubing.
Have 2 and would like to find some more. May have used wrong search terms but tried a bunch without success. Ideas welcome.
Other is the stuff used to finish the rough fiberglass edging around hatch and companionway openings. Not sure what to call it for searching or what it's made of (something plastic, maybe vinyl?)
Assistance appreciated and Thanks

Thanks, that helps with the vinyl trim.
As for the metal bits, I'd like to use them as part of a stern rail setup along with some regular "footed" rail brackets. I picked the two I have up on ebay a while back. No idea what they were originally used on.

Those metal pieces do not look like production pieces to me. I think your best bet is to visit a welder in your area and get a price to copy them.

If this is for a new application, can you use the bracket is it has a rectangle mounting plate with 4 holes? I know I've seen them somewhere. I can look in the parts boxes at Bacons tomorrow.

Thanks all! My thoughts were heading in the direction Capta's suggesting as I've seen lots of stuff with 4 and 2 hole horizontal mounting pads. Ron -- I'm heading near Bacon's tomorrow and might take a sample with me to ask. My challenge is lack of horizontal mounting options. I know a good welder locally that's helped me out previously with oddball requests. I just Another advantage with him is he'll give me exactly what I ask for. Just like to conserve his goodwill and patience so I don't wear out my welcome there.

West Marine sucks when it comes to finding SS parts that you have shown. The suggestion to find a machine shop is a good choice to duplicate those pieces, or you can call Garhauer Marine, who will make up special items, or White Water Marine who also will make up custom pieces from scratch.

They will tell you where the box or two of railing parts are. Turn right, third aisle on the right. Bottom shelf the last time I was there, but they are moving things around to stock more new stuff.
