I am looking for the best service man. for my YSB12 on my 1978 Hunter 30. I have been through the archives. I am aware that the service man. from Yanmar for the ysb12 is no longer available. I am also aware of the Sealoc man. (which does not seem to address the ysb12 directly, although I have not seen one for myself to be sure of this). I would like opinions before I start dropping cash on multiple books which may or may not be of benifit to me. Is the Sealoc man. my best bet? What about the YSE and YSM man. which are still available? Are they closer than the Sealoc? Should I buy them all and cross refrence? Finally if there is anyone out there who has one they wouldn't mind selling or coppying, I would be more than happy to pay for it. Thanks for any assistance, Nick

Don't forget the parts manual
The service manual does not identify part numbers. If you expect to order any parts you will want the parts manual as well to identify Yanmar part numbers. Having the part numbers will also make it easy for you to order parts online through Torreson. Their online parts ordering system is terrific. David H27 Renegade

YSB Parts List
I have a YSB parts manual and would be happy to copy it for you, if you cannot find one. It has lots of good line drawings and I find it quite useful. I concur about Torresens' parts list search - its great. Bill

Thanks for the replys. I had been to Direct's web site (and didn't know they were Toressen). Their online store indicated that the YSB12 service manual was not available. However I called them directly as was reccomended. I was told that the YSB and YSE maunals are one in the same. I ordered one (and a parts manual). I'll let you know if it's the right thing. Nick
