Looking for Yanmar 2GM20F engine

A friend of mine is looking for a complete Yanmar 2GM20F engine (new, used, rebuilt etc.) Where would be a good place to start looking for one? What kind of price range are we looking at? Thanks

I know of a new engine and trans appx. price of $5700. You can use that as a benchmark,don't know about used prices

E-Bay also.

There is a 2QM20 on E-Bay(see Related Link) with transmission. At $635. the "reserve" has still not been met. The 2QM20 is a little heavier than a 2GM but a true 20 horsepower and tireless. I have one in my 18000# H37C(1979). Just an idea.

Give these guys a call

Marine pro of central fl 321-636-8950 they are advertising a rebuilt 2qm20 for $3000 and a ysb 12 for $1000 don't know what else they have.
