I am interested in adding a cruising spinnaker for my '86 C22... for...you know, running donw wind on those light wind days when I'm tempted to fire up the iron Genny... I have never used a spinnaker before and probably will only use it rarely. The pricing for new ones that I've seen run 800+ which (to me) is a bit expensive for such limited use. I thought finding a used one might be a good way to start out. A local sailmaker thought that an "off the shelf" racing spinnaker for a J25 might be suitable. Any suggestions from someopne with experience would be greatly appreciated.
