Looking for Speed

I need to know what the mast set up is for the 28.5. How much Rake do I need and How much Mast Bend? I will be buying a new Main Sail over the winter and need to know how some of you guys racing have your boats have them set up. Thanks Cliff

The rigger here puts about 6" of back rack when he sets it each spring.tom

Cliff;There is a guy up here who tells me he wins most of his PHRF fleet with his 28.5. He rakes his back 3 to 4 inches and uses a great deal of backstay adjustment to control the headstay sag. He also has 3 spinnakers and states: "...without those I wouldn't win squat." He uses them in varying wind conditions but he always races with 'em.
