Looking for specific boat

A few years ago, I gave up sailing and sold my 27' O'Day. Big mistake. I am now retired. Ocasional weekend bare boating isn't the same.

I need your help: I lost contact with the owner I sold her to, and therefore lost contact with boat. Can any of you tell me if I can locate her through some dada base or other method.

Your best bet might be the O'Day owners associations. No real other way to do it AFAIK.

Suggest you just move on. What you have with you is a memory or an idealized image of a boat. Life changes, everything changes and your needs are not now what they used to be a few years ago. What happened yesterday is no longer relevant concentrate on tomorrow. Pick a boat in line with your present circumstances and adequate to carry you in future adventures.

If you know what state it is in and you have the VIN, you should be able to do a search through the DNR that will cost just 5 or 10 bucks. I do it when claiming abandoned boats.
