Trawlers

It seems to be generally accepted that old sailors never die, they just buy trawlers! You have the death defying speed of a sailboat (6 knots or so), lots of stability & comfort. There are some real beauts out there and though I don't know very many, I have a personal affinity for Pacific Seacraft's Nordhavn. LaDonna PS: I couldn't find anything on the Alaskan Trader either.

try looking at the Pacific Seacraft Pilothouse 32

About this time of the year I always start looking at pilot house boats with envy.

Dad just bought a Marinette 28

with a fly bridge. He has been sailing for all of his life (72 years). We are celebrating his new purchase by taking my hard to work, lots of attention H34 to the Bahamas. I guess he did not want to spring for the $$ to get his new power boat there. Now that you have gone over to the dark side I hope you will remember to limit the wakes as you go by my sailboat. Good luck on your new purchase. I know nothing about power boats.
