Hi, I've got a tattered leach on my Cat-25 mainsail. Can anyone recommend a sail loft that does affordable work? I don't race or go 'round the horn, I'm just looking to return it to a (more or less) triangle shape. Thanks, Jim
Jim: Give the Sailboat Shop, in Tempe on McLintock a couple blocks north of Tempe Town Lake (and at Lake Pleasant). They have a contact in Wickenburg that can repair sails. Dick
Don't know about the reasonable price part, most good sail lofts are fairly close in price. I use the North Sails distributor in Newport Beach, CA. They are Baxter & Cicero, (949) 939-8476, been in bussiness long time, very good work, knowledable, honest, good people who will tell you if something is alright for a couple more years or needs work.
