I am looking for a replacement carafe for a brew N wave (combination microwave a coffee maker). They no longer make this item. The part number is 3495W1A001H. It is a 7 cup coffee maker that is rectangular in shape. Tried looking online to include Manage My Life. Help!!

Good news, bad news.

I have the same coffee maker. My pot broke (just disintegrated)
Went to Sears replacement parts. They are incredibly expensive. ($90)
Tried everywhere. Finally bought a replacement plus 2 extras, as I heard they were discontinued, and my options were zero

Yeah, thought about it

Steve, I was so burned that they priced these replacement pots do high, I was going to test the microwave for its "anchor holding ability"
But these guys have you figured out. It's less of a pain to fork over $90 for a $5 pot, than go through a re-install of a new unit.
Plus then, I had to find counter space for a coffee maker.
So, that's the story

I have a glass crafe I saved from my microwave. I will sell it for $25 dollars plus shipping. Let me know if you are interested

We dumped the coffee maker so many years ago that I really cannot remember when we had an electric one aboard.

We have opted for a melita cone on with a stainless steel carafe. We boil water on the stove and pour it through the cone. Voila, brewed coffee at the dock or away without running the inverter/generator etc.

Yes, life used to be so much simpler when you didn't need to run a 12kw genset to make a pot of coffee.
Feel badly for Hunter on this coffee pot issue.
Originally they tried to stock them as spares to try and help out customers, but it backfired. People thought Hunter was ripping them off, when in fact they were turning them around at cost. The fact that Sears was selling a $3 glass carafe for $90 is outrageous. But, there was only one source, and they had you by the short & curlies.
On a totally different subject, I had to remove the overhead deck windshield window.
Found a neat way to do it with no effort in <1 hour one person (me)
I'll write up a post on it.

I think it may have been a little short sighted on Hunters part by not purchasing a unit that had a S.S. carafe. I don't even like glass ones at home, let alone on the boat. Once you coffee is brewed, it stays hot for a long time if you have an insulated carafe. It also means that you don't need any additional power to keep the coffee warm.

This is all water under the bridge, so looking for a replacement unit can now get underway.
