Anyone have knowledge or web sites where a LP portable fridge can be found. Apparently West Marine doesn't carry the Igloo Survivor, (see post 1/24)it's being said to be "what the the doctor ordered" for on the water refridgeration with out "elec." at a low cost. Makes sense? Anyone have experience with this type of unit, is safety a factor with LP. Thanks in advance...

RV supply stores

Steve, I know that RV dealers and supply stores have propane/electric fridges. It might give you a place to start. Good luck, Ray

Refer-Boat

Steve, I work for a Propane Co. and have a 26' also and I also would like to have an L .P. refer on my boat. First of all you have to think how to vent it out. Even if you didn't vent it it will heat up the cabin and and produce co's. The refer also has to be level to run . The only unit I have seen that looks like it might work is a unit I see on V.W. vans. The vent comes out the back and I am not sure if you can add to it and send it up to vent it out. ainigma@uswest.net
