Looking for pictures of 87 Hunter 23' trailer wheels

Hello,

I have original wheels on my 1987 Hunter 23' trailer. Can anyone send/post pictures of closeups of the wheels?

Also, of you know what grease to use for these wheels please inform me please. This Hunter 23 will be in saltwater.

Wheel bearing grease ............marine water, rust and corrosion resistant bearing grease like Star Brite 10 Best Marine Greases Reviewed and Rated in 2022 - MarineTalk and 11 Best Marine Greases for Outboard Motors & Wheel Bearings (boatingbasicsonline.com).

The trick in a salt water application is to use it often and in conjunction with a device to keep a positive pressure on the bearings like stainless steel Bearing Buddies. They are cheap insurance from failed bearings. After installing new bearings and grease pump them all the way up and take your grease gun to the boat ramp with you. They will be flat by the time you get there, lots of air remained in your first pump up. Pump them up before entering the water. Pump them up again when you return home. Now, they are likely full, the plungers will take all summer to go down again, do not let them hit bottom, as the system relies on positive spring pressure. Each new season jack up each wheel, give it a spin and listen carefully for bearing noise, if quiet pump up the bearing buddy and go.

Yes indeed. We had one boat with bearing buddies that was problem free and one without that I replaced beatings on twice before fitting bearing buddies.

But it is still a good idea to unpack and repack your bearings at least once a year.
