I just bought a 1988 302 o'day and one of the plastic, round little bumpers that protects the transom from the boarding ladder is missing. Does anyone know where i can find this part. The boat stores don't carry them so i was wondering where one could find o'day parts. thx, j. creed

more detail.

Is it a screw on round disc? or a slip on rubber bumper for tubular ends? If its slip on then the chair section at west marine has it. I will be looking for a disc type this spring, the one I had cumbled. I may manufacture one if need be.

West Marine has tons of varrieties

I'd look again. Check out the supplier catalogs, not just their catalog. Justin - O'day Owners' Web

Finding newer O'DAY parts

Surprisingly, O'DAYs of the newer 282, 302, & 332 varieties are still being produced! A company in Japan bought the molds from Pearson and are building them. Try them - I'm sure they have what you're looking for.

re; looking for parts

It's a round disc with a screw in the center. There are two of them that sit directly on the transom just below the the swim platform. each one of the discs cushions the boarding ladder when it is lowered into the water for use. thx for all the responses! In re to the response concerning the japanese co. that now builds O'Days. any ideas how to contact them? Thx again, J. Creed
