Looking for owners manual for O'Day 27

I just bought a 1976 O'Day 27. The good news is I have a sailboat. The bad news is I don't have an owners manual, or know much about my boat. But I don't sweat the small stuff.
Anybody know where I can download a PDF of the owners manual? Or does anybody want to sell me their manual through ebay/paypal?

Hello Andy. Buy? Buy? Go to boat info and click on owner modifications. Sunbird was kind enough to post it there. If you want a printable manual send me a private message or e-mail and I can send the same thing in MS Word format. While you're here see 'And so it begins' under bigger boats for a look see at a 76 Oday 27 undergoing a restoration by the most anal retentive perfectionist fool to ever touch an Oday.

A shameless bit of ego massage, huh? No really, the store has some really good stuff I haven't found elsewhere at a reasonable price and they (Phil) is very prompt in answering questions. Oh yeah I like the little pirate dude Ed.

I only wish that I had been able to post the page with all the "pictures"! But, the copy of the Manual Text that I have was sent to me without the drawings. Still, I thank the 27 owner who sent me that several years ago. I'm sure they were Pretty "generic" pics, O'DAY tended to use the same basic words/pics for most of the manuals in the late 1970's.

I have one! It is transcribed to a WORD document along with the original Rigging instructions.

I also have the MARINER and 192.

Awesome! Thank you Sunbird. You have already been a big help in getting to know my new/old O'Day 19. What is best way for me to get the WORD doc assuming you're willing to share it. I'm new to the Forums and not sure what protocol is for posting email addresses. I'm particularly interested in rigging instructions as well as any other general info I can get. Bill, I just sent the Manual in response to your direct e-mail. It is a little "rough", but should help. O'DAY did not go into great detail on everything, and somethings......well, just realize that they used some of the same drawings for several models!
