looking for my security HIN in-bord Beneteau first 35

Hi,
I just heritance from a Beneteau first 35, 1980 and I am looking for the HIN in-bord security code because the one outside have been repaint and filled it out. Does someone knows where it can be ? i wait to sale it but I don't have the birth certificate of the boat...

Can somebody helps ?

I doubt they had HINs in 1980. Or did Beneteau tell you otherwise?

I am waiting for a answer from Beneteau. Do you think I can still sale the boat without this number and without the birth certificate ?

The yachts's original Builders Certificate is only used to obtain the original ownership registration. Transferring private ownership involves transferring registration (and perhaps VAT-paid) documents. EU countries have a harmonized process for this and it should be possible to look up this document in the previous owners name.
