Looking for someone to do the name and port on my boat. Any recommendations in the West River / Annapolis area? Paint or vinyl. Thanks.

Quick signs

Any of those quick sign shops like Signs-by-Tomorrow, etc. can do vinyl press-on graphics that look totally professional and are easy to install. Trick is to coat boats surface with soap and water or Windex before applying; gives you a minute to slide it around and eliminate bubbles, etc. Otherwise it sticks immediately and is hard to correct. The lubrication apparently doesn't affect the adhesion at all when dried. I'm amazed at the do-it-yourself transoms I've seen. Also the BoatUS store in Alexandria has an inhouse sign shop.

You could try

You might try ~ South County Signs & Graphics Phone/Fax 410-867-8772 They did an estimate for me, but I chose not to re-do.....from the HHN yard down in Deale.

Accent Graphics....

in Eastport. You can get their info from the Spinsheet magazine, free at many marine related businesses. They can install or just cut the vinyl for you. They gave me an instruction sheet and the application squegee for my DIY. Spinsheet is full of advertisers, that's why it's free!

Low Price Vinyl Letters

We had good luck with Mr. Letter (a division of Letters Unlimited), an on-line vinyl letter wholesaler. Quality vinyl letters on trasfer tape arrived at our house in 24 hours. The price was MUCH less than Boat US and the service and product were good.
