I got my SouthCoast 22 out and sails up for the first time this past week. I've been a little boat sailor (Sunfish, etc) since I was young but the 22 is a little more than I'm used to. I'd really like to learn from a sailor experienced on this size boat. Are there any members in the Milwaukee area that would be willing to show me the ropes. Otherwise can anyone suggest a way for me to find someone in the area willing to teach me how to handle a little bigger boat?
I managed to get my wife out on the water this week but she's not very excited about the idea of sailing with me since I'm not too confident in my ability to handle this size boat yet. I'd love to get some more experience. Thanks
