Hi Keith, if you look at the post "Getting my 25" O'Day off the trailer" you will see a post from Joe within the last few day's. It sounds like he might be off line for a while due to health issues.

I am glad I got to share fishing stories with Joe over the last ten years. When I get to the boat tomorrow, I will have a tequila, and pour one over the side for Joe.

I knew joe and had my Oday a few mooring away from him. He was a great guy who never hesitated to stop and help me. I've learned a lot from joe and I was always impressed with his mods. The best day was when I asked him if he'd like to look at my 23' I had just bought. It was like he just won the lottery. Big smile. Rest in peace my friend

Oh no...
I'm truly going to miss his kind encouraging words and genuine eagerness to help. What a rare gem he was. His knowledge, experience and good ol' common sense made him a gold mine of good advice. We have lost someone that cannot be replaced Although we never met in person I feel as much affection for him as if we had been lifelong friends. He was that kind of fellow. Such a loss.
