Hi All,
I am the ultimate recycler
While throwing something out at a local club on Tuesday, I found in the trash a used SILVA 20 "LOG" instrument (typical LCD instrument - black, 12 cm square, 5 buttons), complete with most cables and junction box.
I took this treasure home, cleaned it up, and stuck a 12v power supply onnit... and it worked!
As far as I could tell, all buttons work, display works, and it seemed to cycle through modes correctly... as far as I can tell.
-edit- I've now simulated the pulses from a speed paddle, and IT WORKS! It gave me a speed indication. So, it seems I've found an oldie but a goodie
My question - does anyone recognise the model, and either have the manual or could direct me to it online? I've done some googling, but I didn't get anything useful from "silva 20". I have found some Silva NEXUS manuals, but these models look somewhat different.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.
