I just bought a 1980 Bayliner 18', which appears to be in good shape. Of course it's missing the sails and lines, but clean otherwise. Anyone know where I can go to get the size and lengths of main and jib halyards, maybe parts for the future, etc ?

Start with Sailboatdata.com. Then, depending on what you're planning on, consider Sailrite.com to buy a pre-cut kit for your sails. A couple of long weekends with mama's old singer and you could be sportin' a new mainsail or jib.

It appears the Buccaneer 18 was made by several manufacturers, Bayliner seems to be an ugly step-child of the lot. When I look up anything on the boat all I find is the one built by Chrysler or US Yachts. Thanks a lot for all your assistance, but I guess I still have some research to do.
