Looking for haulout in Norfolk,VA

Joan and I are planning a fall curise to Norfolk week of Oct 8. With the recall on the thruhulls for our H356, I would like to haul while there and have them changed. Need recommendations from anyone with experience with the marina's in Portsmouth or Norfolk.JimS/V JavaEdited: We plan to spend about 4-5 days in Norfolk area exploring.

Deltaville Yard

Does it have to be the Norfolk area? There's a yard in Deltaville that has a great reputation and reasonable prices. Schroeder Yacht Systems 804-776-7500.Dave.

Cobbs in Little Creek

I had my 85' H40 serviced at Cobbs marina in Little Creek (Norfolk) this spring. The number is :Cobbs Marina, Norfolk: 757-588-5401I had a decent amount of work done this spring(full bottom job, name change, hull wax, electronic work). They took longer than the initial estimate (but I kept adding things, so it was as much my fault as any, plus I wasnt't in a hurry so I told them to put any ranting customers in front of me), but I found the yard manager to be very honest and up front. They were easy to get a hold of by phone and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need , and they didn't "find" problems either. It is in Little creek, so you have to go out in the Bay to get to it, but I was able to go from Hampton Creek in Hampton to Cobbs in under 2 hours, and I stayed in the channels.
