Any one sailed on Mashapaug pond, in north-eastern CT any danger, shallow rocks. any other lakes in Eastern Ct good for family sail, and overnight camping ? any info appreciated

You can look at Wbster Lake in South central Massachusetts. It is a 1400 acre lake that borders Putnam Ct.

I lived on Long Island for years and miss all the good sailing there on Long Island Sound. Pleanty of places to go. I always loved sailing to Mystic Sea Port. Skip the ponds and hit the sound.
