looking for bottle storage ideas

anyone have some creative ideas when it comes to bottle storage/bar? I want to find a good way to stow the important items, like rum, vodka, etc.. and leave them on the boat.

Any suggestions?

the safest way to store it, is to only buy it in the plastic bottles. glass bottles are not safe unless you have then strapped down, or otherwise snuggly jammed into a small compartment..... not all alcohol is sold in plastic, but almost all of the common stuff is..... then stowage is no more difficult than any other item on board.....

Best place to store bottles might be the cubbyholes behind the settees.

We store our bottles in the cabinet to the left of the microwave (left most if you don't have a microwave). We use plastic bottle wraps from the liquor store on the 750 mls and 1 ltr bottles. We have a couple kinds of rum in 1.75 ltr bottles in there two. In all about 2 x 1.75 ltr bottles and 10 0.75-1 ltr bottles.

In a lats and atts article a couple of years ago the C310 featured hand wine racks in the bilge.
