Looking for an EXPESIVE cockpit awing alternative???

We just bought one of these Sport-Brella's and put it up in the cockpit over the dodger. Only takes a few seconds and WOW, this thing is amazing!! It covers the entire cockpit and is tall enough for anyone to stand under. The height is adjustable and it comes with tie downs and vent flaps. This weekend it rained but we were dry as toast with full use of the cockpit. Best of all is the price, under $20.00 at Costco. If you're looking for an awning alternative get one, they're great!! :dance:

Could you post a pic the next time you are at your boat of how it fits on your cockpit? We have been thinking of a little shade but not ready to install a Bimini yet.

That's a neat idea, I especially like the fold-down flaps.

A couple years ago we bought a Taylor Anchorshade - similar idea but more targeted at boaters. The Anchorshade plus our dodger have worked well together on our small boat, and have survived a couple of windy rainy nights.
