Wiring Wind Generator
Chuck the wiring is simple. You need to find the positive lead, which should be red. You need to place a big diode in the positive wire, with the current flow towards the battery. Now hook the red up to the positive side of the battery, and the black to the negative side. It's that simple. Most will also intall a regulator between the positive output of the generator and the battery. Some wind generators have their own regulator built in, some don't. Some put out to much voltage and can fry batteries without a regulator. I would recommend installation of a regulator, but in a pinch, a simple on off switch will work, if you watch battery voltage closely.
