Looking for a trailer

We are looking for a trailer for our 1966 Keel Model Mariner. Condition not too important but cost is a factor as it will be used to haul the boat about 5 miles for a major overhaul.

Ron-Is this a one time move to restore the boat and then return it to the water or are you looking for to trailer the boat regularly? If the former, you'll do better by having the boat hauled. Around here a five mile haul of a twenty foot boat would run about $200. I doubt you can find a trailer for that.If you're looking to trailer regularly, start combing local boat yards. Borrow one?

You might also try to find someone with a Mariner or something similar and see if you can either borrow or rent the trailer from them? Just a thought. Maybe someone here is in your area? I'd haul ya five miles on my trailer if you were close and it would fit! Of course we'd have to take my boat off first...sounds like a reason to go sailing if you ask me...Josh
