I live in the desert, so I am not near the usual locations that have/sell CNG tanks for out boats. I would really like to save driving from Albuquerque, NM to San Diego just to buy a spare tank (as shipping with gas is out of the question)
I am hoping I might find someone in Texas, Colorado or Arizona that may have switched over to propane and has a spare CNG tank or two that they are tripping over in their garage and they want to get rid of.
If not within reasonable driving distance I would suppose the tank could be shipped if we removed the valve, ensuring there is no gas in the tank.
I sure would appreciate any ideas anyone has on this. I just found a crack in the neck of my CNG tank so that tank is pretty much out of commission.
