got my macgregor 22 sailboat last year but haven't had a chance to sail it yet due to 2 job changes and some major house repairs. Now things are finally settling down I could devote more time to sailing.
anyway, I'm looking for info/suggestions on inexpensive places to park or moor my boat in SoCal (I live close to Long Beach/Lakewood area). Be it dry storage, moor or slip. Right now it's sitting in my driveway and it's pain back it out because I live on a main street. I already checked Sunset Marina in Huntington Beach which has mast-up dry storage but I'd have to go under the PCH bridge, which has a low clearance, and I'd have to lower the mast and raise it again afterwards. Alamitos Bay has a long waiting list for their slips plus I'd have to have the bottom clean maybe every month ?
So I just want to throw this out there, any pointers are appreciated, thx.
