A long-time sailing friend recently loaned me his blue Nashmarine Sailminder card. It seem to be a bit of an antique. When the card is adjusted for wind direction and strength, it shows all the proper settings for one's sails, car settings, vang tension, traveller position etc, in fact about 20 different settings. It is totally wonderful. The card was made in California in about 1968 and I recently called Nashmarine to get one but could not contact them. Does anyone know where I could get one? Some of the questions I see on this site about trim etc. could be easily answered by this card.

Hummm, well now

There is a Doug Nash in San Juan Capistrano, 949-493-4260. his email may be Nashsail@aol.com, I believe he is the Nashmarine that produces winch and line labels for Forespar. Why don't you take a picture of this invention and post it on here?
