The key to bleeding is opening the bolt on the top of the secondary fuel filter on the engine.www.marinedieseldirect.com.When we bought our boat, I didn't know too much either, was was somewhat hesitant at first. Then you get into it, it pretty simple.Try browsing around on www.c34.org and www.c36.org, we have the same engines and do some reading.Check that your electric fuel pump is after the first fuel filter - most boats were plumbed incorrectly.BTW, in this case, Calder's Boatowner's book is NOT very helpful. The M25 is a great engine, and very simple to maintain.Stu
