Looking for a Hunter friend in St. Pete

I live in Little Rock, AR. I own a Hunter 306. Sept 4 I arrive in St. Pete to participate in a survey of a Hunter 45DS. We have no resources here. I don't know of a 45DS in the area. Memphis is the closest dealer. I am looking for a Hunter owner (45DS if possible) that might want to have a beer, share experiences, ideas & resources. I will be there for a few days. This trip will be my only chance to make any changes or add options to the boat if the survey goes well. Once the boat is in Arkansas, all options are extremely limited.
I'd also be interested in opinions regarding going up the Mississippi to Memphis vs trucking.
I have a dry since of humor. Don't much care for whiners. I'm a male and just closed my business (television production) after 25 years. I know this may seem weird, but I thought I would give this a try.
I also would like to visit the Hunter factory while I am in the area. Any input about that is welcome. Actually, any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Thanks for you time, demp

Hi can't help much with your 45ds help needed in st pete but i did do factory tour when they were building my 2007 H-36 and just loved it so don't miss that when visiting Fl.

I can't help with the DS either, but I recently looked at trucking a 456 and it was about ten grand. The tear down and setting it back up were about two of that ten. Your mileage would be less. The trip from St. pete is kind of a straight shot to the river.
