I have a 69 26 MKII with a tired 110% Genoa. I am looking for a recommendation on a good overall Genoa between 125 - 130%. I sail out of LA California. Anyone recommend a good overall size for a variety of conditions? One Sale reseller was recommending a 135% but I think that is too big. Thoughts? Want to be able to sail in light wind and handle up to 15 - 22 Knots if possible.

I would recommend a 150 on a roller furler. That combo has worked well for me. My last boat was a Rhodes 22 with inner-mast furling on the main, and roller furling for the head sail (a 150). Coulld get any amount of either sail I wanted. Currently I have a Columbia 36. She is fine on head sail alone, and I broke my furler a while back. The furler is in the shop waiting for a part to fix it. Some day they will get the part. However I need the head sail fixed before I put the furler back. I have three hank-on head sails, but only the one set up for the furler. Cam Whetstone s/v C36 - Wolf's Den Baltimore, Md. USA
