I will be in Miami for two weeks in late Jan. Looking to rent/charter a Catalina 27 for an afternoon or day. I hope to buy one this spring and want to sail one with someone willing to show me the characteristics of the boat. Thanks, Mike
Mike, I have traveled S. Florida monthly on business for 15 years and have never heard of anyone chartering a Catalina 27 down there. You might call Florida Yacht Charters in Miami to see if they can refer you to someone. I do know you can rent 22 foot sailboats for daysails in the Coconut Grove area. I'll call a couple of sailing buddies and see if they can help. Good Luck.
