My family and I will be in San Francisco soon and I would love to take them out on the bay for a 1-4 hour sail. All of my experience has been limited to inland waterways, so I wouldn't be opposed to some sort of charter or "party boat" idea. Also, we will not have a personal vehicle, so proximity to the Fisherman's Wharf area and public transportation is a big plus. Thanks, Don

a couple weeks ago I saw a boat come by with an ad painted on the side, you might look at the link I put with this message to see if it fits your bill I have no knowledge of what or how they do it, but I did call up the site to get the web address to include. I'm knew to Bay sailing myself, only been out 2 or 3 times and I'm learning with a lot more to learn. Fair winds, and I hope you and your family get out on the Bay, it a great.

Here’s a couple of things to look into if you are going the “party boat route”: Ruby: http://www.rubysailing.com/index1.htm Adventure Cat: http://www.adventurecat.com/ There is a schooner down at South Beach Yacht Harbor with a name like “Bay Lady” (or something like that) that does regular cruises too.
