hi , i have a hunter 23 and i want to add an extra halyard . the reason why is because the two halyard that i have right now are in use . one is for my main sail and the other one is for my jib that is rolled in the furling system . the extra halyard would be for the spinaker. my qustion is: how far from the mast top i have to put the new swivel for the halyard line? thanks..!!!! rafy74@hotmail.com

My '87, H23 with Z spar mast has a spinnaker block immediately above the forestay.

Three of four inches above forestay

It's also easier to control the spinaker if you put a block on each of the stern rails to control it. I find on my H26 that it works best on a breech. Have fun Tom s/v Chrisanna II
