Now that I have sold my IP 27 I can be more serious about pursuing a 321. If anyone out there has one for sale, with IMF, I would be interested in talking with you, (ronsails@gmail.com) Thanks...
How far are willing to travel to find one? There's a 1998 for $62,900 at www.winterssailing.com but it's in Riverside NJ which is quite a distance from you.
If you are looking for pricing comps, I just bought a 1995 321 last month for 49,000. The survey said it was in better than average condition. It has in mast furling, although I am quickly realizing that IMF has a lot if downsides like poor sail shape. Also, i've found that furling it isn't much easier than dropping a standard main into lazy jacks.

Thanks for the info. Having had IMF before I have learned that there is a learning curve with the use of. I suggest that you check the sail itself. The presence of vertical battens really helps with sail shape. When it comes to reefing, if you are single handing, there is quite a difference
