Looking for a 260

Does anyone know if there is a Hunter dealership or a Marine dealership or any Marinas in the Denver area? I will be in Denver next week on business and would like to find somewhere that may have an H260 that I could see/visit. Any suggestions or ideas?

There is a Hunter/Catalina dealership in Lyons see link below, and there are two marinas in the Denver area that I know of. Cherry Creek Marina and Chatfield Marina. I know there are a number of 260's in the Denver area, but I have not seen any for sale in a while. We sail Lake Pueblo, about 2hrs South of Denver and there are four 26s and two 260s in our marina Hope this helps. Chris

Thanks Chris. It doesn't have to be a boat that is for sale as long as I can see it. I'm trying to decide if everything that I've read is true about the size/comfort of this boat. I'm debating between a Mac 26X and a H260. I've been on a Mac but haven't been on the Hunter. I live in Canada and it seems like most Hunters that are for sale are south of the boarder. Pics only show so much, I need to get on one. If there are any H260 owners in the Denver area that wouldn't mind showing off their boat I would love to take you up on that offer. I appreciate any help i could get.

I just did a search of Hunter 260 owners on this site for owners in Alberta, 3 are listed, two seem to be recently active. You could try a similar seach for the Denver area. I think most owners would be happy to show you their boat. If you will be in the Ottawa area in the summer months I would be happy to take you out for a sail on our 260.

I think you are in a good sailing area, I spent a summer there one year and I remember Sylvan Lake as big and windy ! I was only about 12 years old so it might look much smaller to me now .

If you don't care about the speedboat part of the Macgregor X, then you'll definitely want the H260. A LOT more room inside and out. We looked at all the Macgregor's, Catalina 25's, etc, but once we saw the H260, we knew that was the boat we wanted. And that's the boat we got.
