Anyone recommend a 100 / 20 MPPT controller with a display so I don't have to use my wife's phone to check on it... I just want to see and be able to change setting on the controller itself. I have a Catalina 22 and plan to go on week trips with it. I want solar for basic lights on boat and I'm also a musician and will be playing and recording music onboard. Plan to get a 100w solar panel and a 100ah lithium {phosphate battery. I will get an inverter once all this is in place.

Recommend a controller with its own display for me?

OR could I use a stint and external display for this?

Recommend a lithium Phosphate battery?

Bonus question...
If I want to expand and add a tiny fridge/powered cooler someday... Should I up the handling capacity of the controller now... or just add another controller when I get more panels in the future?

:)

I recommend the Renogy Rover. You can currently get the 20 amp MPPT for $90.

They have been given bad reviews but I have had one in my boat and one in my travel trailer for the past 6 years and have installed 3 for others and no problems so I call BS on that.
